THE CHALLENGE
No time, no budget, no system. Just the need to communicate fast for a series of events that didn’t really exist until they happened. Posters had to be made quickly, reproduced cheaply, and spread randomly.
THE INSIGHT
For a mashup music event wit improvised DJs as special guests, we had to communicate a total lack of discipline, in both style and content.
THE IDEA
Minestra. An event where punk makes peace with the Macarena. A raw visual language built from whatever was available: found images, photocopies, markers, distortions. Each flyer is assembled, not designed. Not a system, yet it became highly recognisable in the Roman underground.
THE RESULT
A series of memorable posters that feel closer to artifacts than communication pieces. They don’t announce an event—they are the event. High recall, strong identity, zero effort, and lots of fun.
